The All Blacks will wear black boots in the Rugby World Cup. We are not just talking about the retro black with white stripes and soles, no, the All Blacks will wear newly released Adidas boots that are completely black, including the traditional three stripes and soles, and I like it.
While I am a big fan of the classic black with white stripes, I think that given the new All Blacks "Force of Black" jerseys, then it is great that the players won't wear coloured boots of varying types, but will all wear one of four pairs of these completely black boots.
The All Blacks are an intimidating team, but one of the reasons for this is not just their playing ability, but the fact that they look intimidating in all black uniforms and now, their opponents won't be cut any slack by players in fluro coloured boots. The All Blacks look like they mean business with these boots as they are an important part of the team uniform.
Do you think the All Blacks should all wear black boots?
Call me a traditionalist, but I think they should.
